Freeze Dried Swaminarayan Khichdi

BAPS Amrut Freeze Dried Swaminarayan Khichdi combines the goodness of rice, toor dal and vegetables with a carefully selected blend of traditional Indian spices. The recipe includes carrots, potato, cabbage, green peas, tomato, green chilli, French beans and cauliflower, complemented by aromatic spices such as turmeric, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and more.

Prepared with cow ghee and sunflower oil and made without onion and garlic, this khichdi is designed to offer a convenient meal while retaining the familiar taste and comforting character of traditional Indian food.

Thanks to its freeze-dried format, the meal is easy to store, carry and prepare. Simply add hot water or follow the preparation method on the pack, and enjoy a warm serving in approximately 10 minutes.

Pan Method: Pour 170 ml of water into a pan. Empty the packet into the pan, cover it with a lid, and heat for 10 minutes on medium heat. Mix well, and your dish is ready to serve.

Kettle Method: Empty the packet into a heat-safe container. Add 170 ml of boiling water from a kettle and close the lid for 10 minutes. Mix well, and your dish is ready to serve.

Microwave Method: Empty the packet into a microwave-safe bowl and add 170 ml of water. Cover with a lid and microwave for 2 to 3 minutes. Allow it to cool for 2 to 3 minutes before serving.
